NFL PRO BOWL GAMES Recap 2022

Hey Crew!

In 2022 I went to my first ever Pro Bowl Game in Las Vegas and it was amazing! Let me start by saying that Allegiant Stadium is a beauty- inside and out! Now I almost did not get in because they used the CLEAR App and service around the stadium was not great. It took over an hour for it to work, and I can understand that they wanted to use extra precaution with the COVID-19 pandemic still being active during the time; but whew it was a mess. It was such long lines of people having issues with the app. I cannot say if that is still a thing but just in case try to seek that information so you are more than prepared. Luckily, we got there early enough to be able to navigate but it still was overwhelming.

Vegas in Feb is not extremely hot so that was a plus, otherwise we would have baked in the heat. I actually wore a jean jacket and pleather pants so you can get the type of temperature during that time of year. However, once we got into the gates we walked around to the actual entrance and I must say it was an experience. The outside has beautiful glass windows where you can see yourself and slightly see inside so you build up that excitement. Once we entered we were greeted by security which is great for these types of events. The downside to that was the security lacked knowledge of the stadium so we consistently received different directions to get to where we wanted to go. However, we made the best of it and treated it as an opportunity to tour the place. The main exhibit is the big flame in the center the concourse which is a hassle trying to get to, but it is beautiful. You can see it from nearly every angle of the stadium. We were seated on the 200 level and directly across from it so I would say that we got lucky. The stadium is built to really house more luxury seats like the club level and suites so navigating to the side we were on was a bit confusing to say the least as we could not walk directly through the entire level.

On our level though, there was specialized bars and plenty of places to eat. There is also the Hall of Fame walls which was my favorite part. It gave museum at a live football game and I was here for it. The Raiders pride definitely spoke through the stadium from the color of everything to the names of the drinks. The stadium is definitely state of the art. However, the huge HD screen at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium is still top tier.. sorry Raiders. Moving on, to the actual game which is usually a bunch of soft football but it was great seeing the sea of fans from all over. Dallas fans were definitely in the house which is expected. I loved how they incorporated the Mascots from each team a lot during the game. They definitely made a presence and represented each team accordingly. The Pro Bowl Cheerleaders were great, they performed many times which was nice to root for your favorite cheerleader! I can attest though that the view we had from the 200 level was great, but we managed to move down to the 100 level (same side) and it was even better! We could see into the club areas on the field and we got to see Floyd Mayweather and friends which was cool.

The event was definitely star studded but that to me was no surprise when it was moved to Vegas. However, I just wish I was able to get down there to have a better time (haha). I will say that even though we only drank because we had breakfast at the hotel, the prices were expected for food and drinks. They did also have snacks like cotton candy and popcorn which is there for a decent price. The drinks we ordered came in little brass cups which I thought was cute and worth the price of the drink. My drink was strong so I did not need too many or else they might have been putting me out (haha..all jokes).

The last thing I will rave about is the standing room over by the flame. It was literally like a party! I am not sure if it was that open due to it being Pro Bowl but it was fun to be in a crowd of people just having fun representing their teams. They also had many team stores but the main one I believe was all the way downstairs which also led into a museum type exhibit. All in all the stadium is something to experience. There is so much going on that you almost forget you are at a game. I will definitely say go to a game or a concert and experience it for yourself! The Pro Bowl was great and I think having it in Vegas was a great move. I look forward to attending a regular season Raiders game, maybe when Pittsburgh is in town ;).

P.S. here is my video recap. Hope you Enjoy and GO STEELERS!
