The College Park Skyhawks won their third consecutive match, defeating the G League Ignite in a commanding 100-81 victory in front of a packed audience at the Gateway Center Arena. With four straight home wins, the Skyhawks are having a fantastic season so far and are currently ranked fifth in the Eastern Conference with nine games remaining.

Chris Silva led the Skyhawks with a game-high tying 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and a career-high four steals. Silva has been in excellent form lately, scoring 20 or more points for the second consecutive game and 11th time this season. The Skyhawks' defense was also impressive, forcing 21 turnovers from the Ignite, which is their second straight and third game out of the last four where they have forced 20 or more turnovers.

Jordan Bowden maintained his hot streak by scoring 18 points, including five 3-pointers. Since joining the Skyhawks on February 12, Bowden has been shooting at an impressive .600% from beyond the arc. Rob Baker and AJ Griffin led the Skyhawks bench, outscoring the Ignite's bench 43-21.

After being behind by seven points in the first quarter, College Park took control of the game in the second quarter, ending the quarter with a 26-15 lead behind a 15-2 run, with Miles Norris contributing seven of those 15 points. The Ignite attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter, reducing the lead to as little as five with 7:51 remaining, thanks to eight points from Michael Frazier II. However, College Park closed the game with 12 fourth-quarter points from Silva, maintaining a double-digit lead for the final 6:32.

Matas Buzelis led the Ignite with 15 points while collecting team-highs of 11 rebounds, seven assists, and four blocks in 37 minutes.

The Skyhawks will play their next game against the first-place Delaware Blue Coats on March 5 at 7 pm, followed by a home back-to-back with the second-place Osceola Magic on March 8 at 7 pm and March 9 at 6:30 pm.
