At just 22 years old Iga is ranked the number one tennis player in the world as she represents Poland! She came onto the scene in 2016 and is the youngest singles champion since Rafael Nadal in 2005. Born on 31 May 2001 to Tomasz Maciej Świątek, an Olympic rower while her mother took a completely different profession as an Orthodontist. In 2020, Iga Swiatek brought a breath of fresh air to the women's circuit with her triumph at Roland Garros, her first Grand Slam tournament on the Grand Circuit. She is the first Polish to ever win a Grand Slam.

She conquered the French Open in 2020 and 2022 while representing her mother country, Poland in major singles titles. In addition, the growing champ has won WTA 1000 title in Miami, becoming the fourth woman to win the Sunshine Double. The 2022 season saw Swiatek taking massive strides toward greatness, as she won 6 consecutive titles on the tour, including the French Open title, which was her second Grand Slam title she had a record 37-match unbeaten streak which was recently broken by Alize Cornet at the Wimbledon Championships. But, today Iga showed just how talented she is and why she’s No. 1 winning the 2023 French Open title once again! There’s no doubt that Iga is a star and has so much more ahead of her in her career!
